This Helicam Solutions GMI mount (named for Greg McNair... the guy who literally wrote the book on remote controlled aerial photography) has been retrofitted with the 3 axis, remotely controlled camera gimbal that is supplied on the Helicam Solutions MK IV mount. You will have independent control of pitch, roll, and yaw axes on the camera, and you can add a Kenyon KS-2 gyro to the rear mounting plate for gyro stabilization of stills or video. The mount comes complete with 3 Futaba S3151 digital servos (brand new), bright yellow foam noodles (for shock absorbtion, and great visibility in the air). The camera mount plate is large enough for a professional SLR camera (film or digital), or one of the smaller digital video cameras.
Helicam Solutions provides the best customer service anywhere, and you can be assured that parts and service will always be available. It wouldn't be difficult to modify this mount with SpringAir or Robart retracts, and a compressed air system, to have a functionally identical mount to the HCS Mark IV... which sells for $2500 (with radio included, of course...) www.helicamsolutions.com
$325 shipped in US only. I accept PayPal or moneyorders. Thanks
