I have a question that will be easy to answer for anybody that has taken the time to count. OK, I'm just too lazy to count them myself...

How many teeth are on the pinion and main gears?

I want to use these numbers to calculate my headspeed using some of the online spreadsheets that I am finding. Any suggestions here would be helpfl as well.

120 is Correct I just counted :O (use a Card and listen to clicks , mark one tooth )

I did not count Pinion but I gather its 15 Because They sell motor with 15 .

so Ratio is 8:1

Didn't Count Belt Cog's But Tail ratio seems to be 4:1 (Main head turn once tail 4 times)

I was Curious too Because I am working on a Gaui 200 Realflight Sim model. CDT 450 V2 Variant.

Since I learned allot From You Guys post's (thank you)

Here is Beta Version 1c. still a work in progress :arggg:

This is for Real Flight G4
also included a fast GAUI CS

Most of CDT has voted to share with you fine folks so I guess its OK to share right now.

You will also need CDT ( Collective Designs Team ) Trex 450SE V2 (http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=3417)

Load that first , then Load this AV file.
This one has long brass weights , so alittle slow in cyclic during 3D.
lowered TC Because of a issue with RF you still have to watch overspeeds or head locks up and heli floats down. also there is a Bug with RF i cannot simulate tail with no power so i had to turn off one way bearing which sims , real one better

Sorry I don't have G3 anymore, plus you would need to re-tweak in G3 :(

anyway give it a whirl and please comment (will help to make better)

Thanks :fly

the trex worked, but i can't get the gaui to import... how kind of you to do this. we have all waited patiently for this. thank you very much.

hmm odd you have problem with import.

unzip attached file
there are two files in there one is CS (colorscheme) the other is the AV file
but both have new G4 extension RFX

import the CDT Trex 450SE V2 make sure it works. (which i think you did)

then maybe you have to switch to another model like nextstar or something. then use import for Gaui 200 files . after there in then select the gaui 200 might have to change CS to Gaui200 .

I do run the latest G4 so maybe you need to upgrade G4 to latest version 4.00.052

Let me know if you still have problems.

Hey Glad you got it working I just retested import from ground up to make sure it was working.

for that hard work Here is a better CS , One of the Team members fixed my Hole problem with frame . later will hopefully get a better CS with silver frames .

Use manage user files in RF and delete the CS if you installed.
do this while you have another model loaded like Nexstar

then unzip this file and import the Cs RFX file. then select Gaui 200 aircraft and switch CS to this new Color scheme called Gaui200Beta if all checks out you should see holes in frame and not baby blue color.

attached is a preview shot of it flying in sim.

THanks for Trying let me know if something does not feel right.

Is there any chance that you could work on a Reflex XTR version of this model?

Sorry Heli Cuzz, I only have real flight G4, so Cant make one for the Sim you mention. :(

if the one you have can edit parts. go threw your heli and measure the various parts weights and size then possible you can modify one of the helis in your sim.

if you have a question that maybe i can answer ill be happy to try and help

Like i said i don't have the one you have so can only guess what it can do.

If your sim has a Trex 450 i would start with that, then if possible reduce its size by about 50%
from there you need to reduce its motor and battery to reflect the 200 .

No problem. :). As soon as I figure out this vibration problem with my Gaui, I'll just keep practicing with it, and with my Rex and the sim. I'll eventually get there.

Choppersuey,

I just got a chance to get your GAUI-200 sim model working on RF4.

FREAKING AWESOME DUDE!!!

For eval purposes, I'll say the sim's a touch less twitchy than my 200, but I'll betcha that's just my heli because I still don't know a lot about tweeking yet.

But good grief, finally, hallelujah!!!

how about a version of the G200 for Clearview. If the model is an .ac file, or a .obj file, I could do the rest.
