Sorry if this has been asked or answered already somewhere i wasn't able to find it ! :-)
Everybody is talking about getting an ys91 for their future t-rex 700. Won't the first kits come with an os engine ?
the reason i'm asking is... i don't want to get an ys 91 (which i prefer myself) just to realize that the kit will comes with a "spare" os engine afterwards!
Thanks for any insight on that !

Why do you think the kit will include an engine? Only the Super Pro combo for the 600N includes an engine, the kit has always been available without an engine though.

smile.. because i had an engine with the kit each time i bought one :-)
but that basically answers my question..... i was just curious.. because each and every picture shows an os engine.... so i thought... maybe the kit comes with one.
Cheers

the kit will just be the airframe, at least that was the last word from align. you will need to buy a motor, 2in1 or similar voltage reg, gov, receiver, servos and gyro to complete the kit.

From Kyna in another thread.
The 700N will be priced at $799 and include both tail blades and paddles. With the exception of the boom, which has yet to be decided on materials, the heli will come stock as it is now.

Yep... the T700 comes with paddles and tail blades. It will not at first come with a regulator or 2in1 like the 600n.
You will need the following:
Motor, Pipe, Main Blades, glow driver of some kind, and an ectronics power system.
I will be going 8V on this heli myself.

I will be running 8v if I get one, still trying to decide 600NSP or 700.

ok... almost everything is clear now :-).... i didn't know that there will be no "2 in 1" in the kit.... what should i get for running the jr 8711 servos at 8 volt ? straight lipo ? is there any regulator which can output 8v and 6v (for my futaba receiver which can only handle 6v)
Cheers

the spektrum ar 7100R is what I am planning on using for my 8v setup. it has a built in gov aswell which neatens up the wiring.

I am going to be using a switch glow to replace the glow driver in the 2in1.

I guess I read the following post from Bert Kammerer wrong:
http://www.helifreak.com/showpost.php?p=654575&postcount=19
He says "...but Jason has been testing the 3rd or 4th revision of the Align pipe, which will be released along with the kit."
I read it as saying that the pipe will come with the kit, but I guess he's just saying that the pipe will be released to the market at the same time as the kit, sold separately.

fwiw..
If I were getting a new 90, I'd wait onr the engine to see what TT does with the new .96...If the RedLine .53 is any indication, the .96 will blow the doors off the currently available 90 engines..Exhaust port is shaped so that OS /YS pipes won't fit, however...

Well there is some new stuff coming and the timing of these helis coming out is just a bit too early and I cant wait to get the new stuff.
The AR7100 RX seems awesome! I love built in regulated outputs for gyro, rudder, throttle, etc. We will have to wait and see how the rev limiter works. I usually prefer a gov not a rev limiter. The Align gov works really well and is small so that doesnt bother me as far as wiring but too bad it doesnt support 8V :( Another regulator needed there.
AND this thing is not out till early June and like other announcements like this, might be later than that!
The Redline .96 engine could be hot! I don't know as there have been pro's and con's with the Redline .53. Seems TT always has some carb issue somewhere...
Also rumor is a new redesigned OS 91 is due out soon?
So those that can wait, some good things coming!

Hmmm I don't know? Looks like a SZ but with a new carb?
I heard the new 91 was a total redesign. Not sure this is it. Even though the ad says redesigned, that what it said with the SZ first came out in respect to the C-spec .91

That engine has been out for a couple of years. Plus ReadyHeli either has the wrong description or the wrong picture. The OS 91 SZ Hyper has a regulator on the carb and pump in the back pump.
That is just the regular SZ in the picture.
Here is the engine in the picture on Ready Heli site.

Here is the engine with the pump that they are describing in the text on Ready Heli.

Notice the differences.

Maybe this os 91 will have a pump that isn't a pos.
