My last crash appears to have taken out my 3 in 1 and I don't know if it's worth the $85 bucks they want for it. How can I test to make sure this is the problem? I have no power to motor or servos, and the (brushed) motor winding has continuity. Is that a triac or some other thyristor on that board? I don't have the part no. here at work, can someone read it off for me so I can look it up? Could this be what needs replacing?:thinking
Thanks

Ok, I'm talking about the big square black chip in the center of the board that has three pins on one end. This is likely the culprit of all these failures and may fix a lot of your blown 3 in 1's for pennies. Can someone tell me the part number printed on it?

Well, never mind. What appears to have gotten hot and fried is an ASIC (Application Specific IC) of some sort maybe a processor, with no markings. So much for repairing this 3 in 1. Anyone want to buy an Axe CP for parts?
