What settings to use on Scorpion 45a ESC?

I just got my Scorpion 45a ESC for my MX50. I am running a Electrifly 2900kv motor and 11.1v 25c 2200ma Kong batteries. The instructions tell me how to setup the ESC, but don't make any suggestions for the settings themselves. I am thinking of setting the cuttoff at 3v, but don't understand how the delay works, or the other functions purposes.

Remember, the cutoff for LiPo's is 3.2V for each cell times the number of cells, so for a 3S that's 9.6V cutoff, I would go with the 3.2V setting as a minimum. In fact, I don't even trust that and added a LiPo alarm to my bird that goes off at 9.85V which is 3.28/cell just to be safe. What delay are you talking about? Which DIP switch number is it in the manual?
