Hi Guys,

I don't know about you, but I think the Phoenix simulator is the greatest. I've been lucky enough to have all my models represented to this point, but now that I'm replacing my Swift with a Logo 500, I'm out of luck.

Let's get together and start lobbying Phoenix to create the Logo 500 and 600 models. Maybe they could even do a V-bar version to give us a taste of what that is like.

I think we'll each need to send an email to Phoenix asking that they do this. And Phoenix might need pictures of the Logos to get the job done. I've found them to be very good about responding to emails.

If you like, put a post on this thread when you've emailed them and/or gotten a response.

Here's their email address: info@phoenix-sim.com (info@phoenix-sim.com)

Keep 'em flying.:YeaBaby:

Phoenix would love to have a mikado but the team needs some photos and someone to get the flight characteristics. I don't have a mikado yet other wise I would volunteer ... HINT HINT

"me too".

I think for V-Bar, all you'd need is more knobs to twiddle on the heli setup interface, or perhaps different names on the existing ones. One knob for agility, one for gain, then one set for the cyclic, one set for the tail...

Got to agree about pheonix being the best sim out there. I've emailed pheonix on a few occasions and always get the same reply of you supply the pictures we'll make it. I know someone on here has sent them L500 pictures and it should be in the pipeline for release and i've been waiting desperately for them to release a L600 V-bar model but i guess they havent got any pictures yet. Well now i;ve got my new canopy i'm thinking of taking the pics for them, i'd be great to see your own model be released on the sim. I dont know how long it takes for them to do it but they've had those L500 pics now for months i think and still nothing. So what you think about my L600 canopy for a phoenix model
some pics of it here (http://www.helifreak.com/showpost.php?p=660889&postcount=200), post 200 http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=47487&page=20

Hi All,

Here's what I got back from Phoenix. My canopies are going to have custom paint, so I'm hoping someone out there with the stock canopies (500 and 600) can help them out. They need quite a few photos. Please post if you're going to send them pics.

Thanks.:YeaBaby:

Thank you for your comments and suggestions.

We would very much like to add both of these models into Phoenix, and your offer of photography is appreciated.

Full instructions on the process can be found here on our website: www.phoenix-sim.com/technical_modelImages.htm (http://www.phoenix-sim.com/technical_modelImages.htm)

Best Regards

I've got a flybar Logo5003D with the stock canopy. I'll try to get some pictures sent to them. Probably the more the better so than can pick the best ones.

Hi Ken,

Great. Examples of each view that they need are at the following link:

www.phoenix-sim.com/technical_modelImages.htm (http://www.phoenix-sim.com/technical_modelImages.htm)

I'm really looking forward to trying the Logos on the sim. I'm hoping they can do some V-bar as well. In the winter here in Minnesota, the sim is all we've got!

Thanks!:YeaBaby:

I just sent them 20 pictures of my Logo500 3D. Hopefully they will work. If not, I can do some more.

I've already received a reply from them. The pictures have been sent to the modeling team and they hope to have something ready soon. They also asked about flight testing. I can do that, but I'm still a beginner. Maybe some of you experienced guys could email them and offer to do some flight testing.

Thanks.

Ken is yours the flybarred version?? If so I will send some pics of mine which is flybarless.

The only downside to mine is I didn't take alot of care routing wires, and I have the BEC and the ESC mounted on the sides, so it's a little ugly (airflow on the electronics is more important to me than looks). I suppose they could always photoshop them out.

Yes. mine is the flybarred version. You might be able to just send them detailed pictures of the head and not have to worry about the rest of the heli.

I don't mind flight testing it...
