Recently arrived, laser welded, no pins.

Nice, I assume to run on your 1912? Will this be for the 600mm ship or the new 690 baby to come?

I'll give it a try on all my helis with Neu motors, the ratios are just right.

The 700 will be ready to fly Friday with your "old" Neu 1912H/1Y w/ 12T and a CC 85HV. Next I'll try the Actro 32-3 Max w/16T and a Power Jazz. Then maybe a Neu 1915/1Y.

It will replace the 17T mod .5 gears in my 8S 600 when I run out.

I dunno how that 1912H will fair with that large of blades, but am sure curious to hear how it goes John, very exciting indeed man!

My 32-3 "max" owned the 1915-1y seven ways to sunday on the 690mm blades. The 1915 just doesn't have the grunt of the actro, but it does draw more amperage !

Nathan

The 4212 can't handle the Neu 1912H/1Y. 2 flights 2 main gears:thumbdown:.

The RPM is correct for this motor, still 2,300 headspeed. The gear is also smoother and seems to made of better material. Maybe it will work on an 8S setup?

Or a weaker motor.

Supports the theory that smaller pinions strip more than bigger ones :(

Go 1915/1.5Y (H), I replaced all my actro's for that motor, alot more power, 30 seconds less flighttime, I can live with that.

Hi John, have you tried the 12T on 8S yet?
I'm thinking about using the 12T to replace my 13t which appears to have begun the seperation process.
I wonder if I'd have the same maingear problems running the 12T with a Tango 45-08 on 8S. It seems the 45-08 on 8S is not quite as powerfull as the 1915-1y.

I plan on trying the 4212/153 with the Neu 1910H/1Y on 8S, replacing the 4117/212. I think it will be fine with a lower power motor.

I'm a bit disappointed with 1910/1Y on 8S for 600 size helis - would be good for the 500 :YeaBaby:

The 4212 works great on 8S as a direct gear ratio exchange for the 4117, plus it is pre-welded from the factory.

My 1910H/1Y has almost as much power as a 10S setup. Hmm... I may use it for the Drag races in a couple of weekends.
