Just a reminder, the Southwestern Pennsylvania Helicopter Asso. SPWA is a radio helicopter club in the southwestern part of Pennsylvania. We have been organized and active for over ten years. We have a flying site at the Greene County Airport in Waynesburg, PA. Located app. 45 miles south of Pittsburgh, 20 miles south of I70, just 1/4 mile off I79. Restaurants are adjacent. For information this was the site of the first IRCHA Jamboree. We are a AMA chartered club and require AMA membership to fly. At the present time membership is open and there are no dues required. We only ask for donations to cover club expenses. Flying is open everyday. Since we fly at a active airport we have strict airspace boundaries that must be observed(there is plenty of flying airspace available). We make bulk fuel purchases during the year(Cool Power) and have fuel available at attractive prices. A fun fly and picnic are being planned for the summer. The invitation is open for anyone to come and fly with us. For further information PM me. Dave Davison
