Does anybody else have trouble hearing the timer on the DX 7? Too many years working on cars has left me with poor upper range hearing. Has anybody tried to install a 3.5 mm audio jack for an ear piece off of the speaker?

I have never been able to hear mine, the damn thing is for people who never worked for a living. it needs to be louder.

I've had this problem a couple times and run the batteries a little lower than I should have. But it only happens when I'm flying in the garage, where the noise from the heli bounces off the walls. Outside, I've never had a problem. I do wish there was other options for louder enviroments. Either an option for a louder tone, or a vibration mode like most cell phones. The 3.5mm audio jack, is an interesting idea. But I could see the wire for the ear piece getting tangled up in the neck strap.

How about an LED wired into the signal for the audio. Mounted from inside top of case to blink. I dont know if that would work or not but it might catch your attention.

if you flew nitro this wouldnt be a problem, just wait till there is no more noise.

When my heli starts making noise like that, I get it fixed! :rolling :tongue
