Just curious does anyone know about this event?
http://www.joenall.com/

I was told by the guys at my local club that the Joe Nall is a must see event. I realize this is an IMAA event But didn't know if anyone has been to it and if it's worth while.

Seeing as it's it's less then 2hrs from me might be worth a trip out there.

Do you realize this is an IMAA event?

I'd probably go and watch if I lived closer. I've seen some badass videos from years past.

This was from last year:

Yep Joe Nall is a great event. It is definitely a must see event at least one time for anyone in the RC Hobby. They have demos at lunch break each day. Curtis Youngblood, Marcus Kim, and few others have been some of the heli pilots doing demos.
Doesn't mention who the noon time demos are going to be. Since Matt Chapman has an open weekend that weekend. I would not be surprised he would be there. He puts on a hellva of an airshow.

Joe Nall is great. I went last year with the crew from Hodges Hobbies and had a blast. Matt Chapman put on a great full scale aerobatic display (rolling harrier with a real Cap 580 was most impressive). The noontime demo's included a dual flight with Quique Somenzini and Curtis Youngblood, definitely worth the trip. Everyone thats into r/c should attend at least once.

Becky and I will be set up there. We will have some great trex deals, and of course flight power batteries, radix blades, plus our usual miscellaneous goodies like wire sleeving and velcro and heli parts. Don't miss the friday nite bbq.

My girlfriend, Mother and I will be coming up friday morning, It's my 31st birthday that day, Any deals for the birthday boy? :-)
And also know of at least 3 others from my local club that will be heading up there friday also. I think I'm going to try to stay at the days inn (if there is still room) as that's where the people from my club are staying.

Am I right in saying that it's only goes till Saturday the 17th... currious why? If so Caleb my girl and I might make the trip out to your event for Sunday, but we'll play that one by ear.

Hi Brian, I'm sure I must have walked by there a dozen times. I'm amazed at how many folks I know were there but never saw. That place is huge! I think all those shots were from thursday and friday. I understand Bobby S. and Nick were flying helis at the new, lower field and I missed all of that. :arggg:

You were probably sitting in this area; this was Friday evening just minutes before the BBQ, most everyone had left for food already.
