well everything is looking good and it was an easy build for sure. I should be getting my blades soon from BergenRC. I went with VBlades 810 on the head and 110 tail.
Im going to use the 401 with a 9253 on my tail.
I see some people are wrapping the plug wire with braided metal mesh. Please tell me if this is really needed. I hear it prevents radio lockout?

Blades showed up yesterday, and are on the way to you.
Some say yes, some say no.
Range test your bird, with and without the engine running. (set the failsafe first  ) If no problems, then go fly. I think you'll find with the G10 framed birds, lockouts are less likely, (or maybe it's just me)

Dont know why but after puttting these big ass blades on I got nervus!
I started to sweat my ball joints and wondering hey did I threadlock that torque tube.
Im sure it will go well. I should have my Tach this friday so I can get this thing setup on the money.

:)
I got the thing in the air for about a min with a good friend of mine. but it was way too dark to tach it! I have to get the egine dialed in now and add weight to the nose to get the CG right.
Im going to set the head speed for 1450 my blades are 810.
It looks like I need to have the head at 1450 before any pitch.
so I will adjust my throtle curve higher before positive pitch hits above half throtle.
I had a torque tube come loose on the ground. Thank god it was on the ground!! :smokin: It was an easy fix. I just made the hole bigger so it would have good contact on the dogbone.
any tips would be awesome!

its boggin during my climb out!
and it will want to choke during spool up but smooths out and is fine by the time its light just half a notch above half throttle.
After a flight the clutch bell it nice and cold!
thanks for a tight ass helicopter BERGEN RC :glasses2:

If bogging in the climbout, richen your high speed needle a bit. Also make sure you are not running to much high end pitch
