AXE CP-L Puffing Lipos

Have others had trouble with their AXe CP-L puffing Lipos?

So far, I have sent one TP 910 back to TP becuase of a bad cell. Then I noticed my other TP910 was starting to puff. I thought the 910s might be marginal with the 16C (14.5A) continous. I bought a TP 1320 (13C Continous, or 17A) when I sent the first 910 in, and it puffed tonight. This is a fairly new battery.

Any thoughts?

Some of the 910's have been recalled. Mine was one of them, sent it off a month ago and still havent got the new one back, they told me today I should have it in about two weeks.

Are you talking about the Electrify 950 or a Thunder Power 910? I sent the recalled Electrify 950 back for the recall a few weeks ago...hoping to get the new one soon.:thumbup:

The amp rating was higher on the TP 910 vs the Electrify 950, but maybe that is why they got recalled??

My flights are around 6-7 min with the 1320. I just put the 1320 on the charger, it was at 11.4V. I will know shortly how many mAhs were charged into it.

I am wondering if the main motor has gone bad or something. I may be moving to a different heli soon if the Axe keeps eating batteries.
