have anyone tried these paddles from thundertiger?

their specss: "Same size as the stock paddles but a lot lighter at 30g each (vs47g on the stock black paddles) so a lot more responsive."

do these give similar results to the R50 greenies? I am kinda afraid of using the V paddles coz they'r extremely light! i don't want to sacrifice stability for faster cyclic responses..

Thanks

lol, i think they're gonna look ugly but highly visible!

I mentioned that v paddles sacrifice stability, is that true will?

I found the V Paddles to increase stability and slow down the flip and roll rate a little bit over the MAH Carbon paddles on my R90's. It really all depends on your setup and balancing of the model and what mains you use. You can talk to a bunch of people and every one will tell you something different...you know how that goes. It is what keeps it interesting Ali. ;)

Basically when I flew MAH Blades, I found the V Paddles to make it less pitchy and the MAH Mains and V Paddles to be a good combo. When I changed to V-Blades, I found the V Paddles to be a little slow for my liking and I went back to MAH Carbon Paddles with the V-Blades as my favorite setup. I think Hammer has experienced similar results on his big Raptors. Now that I am flying MA machines, I run V-Blades and V-Paddles and like the combo fine.

Well, due a couple other issues I didn't get to test the paddles (still breaking her in and setting up). I hoping to sneak out during lunch this week  ...I keep you guys posted.

No need to be afraid of the V-paddles :) I was surprised when I first tried a set. They're very stable and precise yet when full cyclic is applied they are quite quick. It’s a linear feel as well so I didn’t have to use much expo which is nice.

No problem :) Do you like your helicopters cyclic extremely fast, medium, slow? I've been running 107mm V-paddles, but most people like the 95s.

i'd guess i prefer medium speeds, 95s would probably be best, if i ever found them.. i think my best bet is with RHR..

Well...still working the bugs out and I have had a chance to try the reds yet. I've got them installed now so I should have a report after my next flight.

I flew at lunch today :D ...much better that the stock paddles! They're about 2x faster, still not enough for my taste. I need to upgrade to the metal hiller arms so I can change the ratio :glasses: .

I took 95mm V paddles off mine today to fit the red ones ,, the red ones look sorta ok , but i'm almost sure the V's will be going back on ,,, it's a bit pitchy with the red ones .... might be my setup too though!!!!

I'm running the green ones on my 50se , and they are great !!!

I am currently running 90mm, 95mm, and 105mm V's on my R90's, obviously the 105s give the quickest response but I do like the 95's the best.. A buddy is flying the reds and says they fly well and did increase his cyclic rates over the stock paddles by quite a bit.. Aside from being ugly as sin they seem to work fine.
