Husky,
Do you have one on a pre-order status?

I do have a pre-order with HPz.

My account billed 3 days ago and I am only a 1 day ship. I have received no conformation of any kind other than verbal from the staff at HPz that I will be getting mine. HPz over nighted shipping labels to Agusto at CX. Now I don't doubt I will have one, but can it really take 9 days to pack and ship 2 pallets and 100 kits. In Agustos statement the states they were shipping pallets to the dealers (two) and on Monday start regular shipping. The kits alloted to HPz will be shipped direct from CarbonXtreem.

UPS has not notified me of anything shipping from them as of yet.

Yes Bill, why? I haven't heard of anyone receiving a kit yet.

I would of thought someone would have posted if they've received a kit, AND posted a "bragging rights" picture :noteworthy

They haven't shipped yet. Even heliproz has said so. See the thread on RR...

As soon as I heard that the dealers were taking the $ and that AVANT was going to be shipping the kits, I knew we'd see something like this....

What a bunch of BS.

Man!! that's bullsh..... I would be very pissed if that was my case, one thing is to wait a lot of time with a $100 deposit, but now they charged their CC and no shipping!!! what's happening?

I really want to buy an Aurora, but I'll wait until I see that the parts support and availability are as expected!!

Augusto, now you need a better excuse!!!

Haha, honestly sad but I think that is the truth what he is trying to do with the 700n... who knows

Reminiscent of when he tried to do the same thing during the Synergy release a couple years ago. He seems like a very unethical person which in business some people feel that is required to succeed. However you do not screw around with peoples hobbies or enjoyment.

Well, I read that the actual shipping will be Tuesday. I hope he ships finally. I really don't care much about this heli myself, but it stinks to see so many people feeling jerked around by this situation. It will be great when y'all can fly this bird you've been waiting so long for.

I just remembered I also watched and participated in the beginning and the end of the HD-DVD>Blu-Ray format battle... consumers make swift choices that in the end prevail.

When you whiners get your kits, you will sit around stroking the wood, then you'll forget about any miscues.
I's been stated before and frequently that the kits will NOT ship until the dealers pay for each of them in full.
The pre-orders were too premature, and they should probably NOT taken any money, but thats now water under the bridge.Consider the facts: all that has been promised and has gone before the release, and most importantly; Augusto's statement that the kit will not ship until it's ready.
I admire him for recognizing another issue, and taking one full frontal into the creditability nads.
Call BS once you get the kit if you see something amiss, till then you are making yourself look like a buncha gossiping girls. :)

the point is how can a model helicopter be delayed for 2 years. there is absolutely no excuse. the problem has been with the manufacturer not addressing the issues earlier combined with their quality assurance. i hope all things go well with whoever buys them

I totally agree, I cancelled a pre order and will no longer be buying an Aurora, I will wait for the 700N or buy a Synergy. I refuse to be a pawn in Augusto's games!

Augusto is involved with the Synergy line, too, isn't he? Boycotting one of heli's and buying another one isn't really accomplishing much.

The guy's getting a lot of bad press on all the sites. I really hope, for his sake, that there aren't any bugs in the production kits that get sent out. Even the smallest glitch is going to explode this issue even more.

Who else is producing kits made in the USA? You think you could do it faster for a kit that looks like the Aurora and sell it for what the Aurora costs? Not so sure about that.....

Personally, I think the Aurora looks AWESOME, I will have one. I have paid a grand for another brand kit I had to press PEM Nuts in and came with wrong and missing parts knowingly shipped. I would much rather have the heli correct when shipped. If you don't want to wait on a heli, then don't, you will see there are many who don't mind waiting to get all that heli for a good price... like me. :)

All the drama... well for a reality check, look up some topics from the main drama queens and see this is just another excuse to exercise their keyboards instead of fly... typical.

Augusto, please wait to ship my Aurora until I don't have to use a drill or press in PEM nuts. Thank you in advance. :)

Now come on Oldskool.. you know I am Wayne's personal mechanic... he would only want ME to test crash his new Aurora.... and I have PLENTY of crash experience... in fact my last crash was inverted from 40' with no headspeed so I saved the blades... I am sure Wayne will send the replacement/crash parts to me with his kit.. cause lord knows... they WILL be needed!!!
