How Align should paint the canopy!

So, lose the white paddles, and the white tail blades, then paint the canopy like this.

Much, much, more aggressive looking IMHO! :thumbup:

I want bright colors not white as a primary color! White is HARD to see orientation on cloudy days and this aint no 450 your going to fly in close all the time!

yea.. they really need this canopy to stand out. I dont know who comes up with the paint schemes at align but they really need to invest in some better paint jobs. White is just way too plain. I would like to see bright yellows and orange and bright metallic blues. And the white paddles are going to look more toy like than black CF would. I would even take silver CF over just white.

Rasjax, I think we're coming up with something here.

Added the checkerboard, oval windshield with red inlay, red stripe in place of the silver stripe on the bottom, black paddles, and black tail rotors. :thumbup:

Nice photoshop jobs...I like those. I like the last one. I would be neat to have the contrasting colors on the canopy, parallel the lines of the tail boom supports. Does that make sense? With the oval windscreen would look good. Now I'm going to get on the Adobe and make some up.

Bring the bright colors! Very nice job on those canopies. I would say that Align should release his new bird with a great canopy design. The 500 and 600 have very nice FG canopies, I do not see why they could not do the same with this one. I am sure they will figure it out since they have always listen to the feedback given by the end user. For sure it would add cost to the final product.

I myself like the original windscreen they have there better than the 600N style which is rounded at the top rear...

I think it would look cool if they'd modify it to look like the N9's windscreen.

Stockton, huh? Well here in Virginia a lot the leaves on the trees are darn near that same fluorescent green color. I love the color but it absolutely does not work if you have a tree line. But they don't have trees in Stockton, do they?:YeaBaby:

If Align doesn't come up with great colors and graphics at initial rollout, I'd bet they will come out fairly quickly with several optional canopies that will please us.

The shape of the windshield is what's wrong with the overall appeal of the canopy...take out the curve as it rides up the side to the top and give it more of a 600 look. Then put whatever scheme on it as you like.

I have seen the yellow 700 canopy in person, it looks pretty good, just like a big giant 500.
