I have just finished my new heli.
This is a custom designed and made Trex500 with VSTABI. The CNC milled/turned parts and the routed carbon/G10 parts also has been manufactured in my hobby workshop. The whole frame was optimized for VSTABI.

The frame can adopt easily an 4250/6S battery pack ( 45mm wide ). The CG also easily adjusted to find the optimal position.
The position and the size of the rear radio tray also has been redesigned to easier acces to the cables connectors.

Config:

Motor: Hyperion 3520-14 ( 1190KV ) on 12T
ESC: CC45HV
Battery:2x 2500/4S 25C XenonPower ( 8S )
BEC: Hyperion 4A CoolBEC
Cyclic: Inolab HG-D260HB
Tail: Logictech LTS6100G
VSTABI 3.6 USB

It is extremely powerful and agile. :)

Nice job!

How are the HG-D260HB performing?

Thanks!

The 260HB is one of the best what I've ever used. Very accurate and fast.
It performs better than Hitecs and the similar sized Futaba 3150.
Ofcourse it is a superservo ( 12ms ).
And finally it is slope free after 20 flights.

The Inolab is an OEM maufacturer. They produce servos for big brands like Graupner, Robbe and Logictech.

I have flipped back the bladeholder.
I could not detect difference in the air. It works perfectly like before.

Interesting. Did you find any recommendation whether one should use trailing or leading edge control?

I have tested both of them.

At first I tried the leading edge configuration. It was suggested to the first starts. It should be a litle more smoother and stable but It was not.
In this case you have to bolt the blade in inverted what is not too comfortable.

So I flipped back the bladeholders to the trailing egde control setup. It is still stable and the controll is also perfect. I could't see any difference. But I am not a top 3D pilot...
