I've had connection issues ever since I acquired this setup, and I'm wondering if there's a trick to fix it.
The TX and RX are just not connecting. I've tried it with the TX close and with the TX very far away and several distances in between with no luck. Very annoying; I just want them to connect and work.
The light on the satellite is flashing. No light on the main RX.

You did try to bind them first?

I did try to rebind yeah, they won't bind either, when in this state.
Eventually they connect... After I curse the name of Dean's for 20 minutes unplugging and replugging that damn connector. :D

Mine does the same. It bound the first time I tried, but won't re-bind. Is this normal if it detects the same model?

I'm not talking about binding (though, when it's in this state, you can't rebind either), I'm talking about normal TX to RX "connection" that needs made before the system "arms" and you can use it.
Getting very frustrated. Sometimes it'll connect first try, even with the TX sitting 1 foot away.... Sometimes I have to try 15 times from various distances. I know the Spektrum gear is sensitive to TX/RX distance, or at least I've read that's the case.

Yea, the manual says something about the fact that if you're too close it won't connect, and if there's anything metal in the area like cars or a truck bed it sees it's own microwave reflections and thinks it's "unfriendly noise" and won't connect, it will discard the data packets and take much longer to connect. This could also be a problem indoors. Do you have this problem outside, away from any objects?

I've had it indoors, outdoors, you name it. :/

Oddly enough, the AR6100e in my CX2 connects every...single...time. Bad AR6200 in the TRex? Or some interference issue with the frames or somesuch?

I've been setting mine up tonight and no failures in 8 or 10 tries! Connects within 2-5 seconds. I'd take yours back for a replacement.
