Is it worth spending the $ to buying the Jr 9303 or save and buy the DX7. Will they work the same or is one way better than the other?

Both are great radios. If you are going to go Nitro and want to use the Futaba GV-1 Gov then I'd go with the 9303 so all the goodies work on the GV-1. If not, I'd go with the dx-7 and fly. I use the dx-7 currently and love it! No radio glitches ever in over 1000 flights with 5 different heli's. Now only if there had not been any pilot glitches! :)

Thanks for the info think i'll get the Dx7 going to pick up a trex 500 soon have a blade 400 now for about 3months and been playing with the G3.5 for about 2years

Buy the X9303 now, or buy it later.
It is much nicer feeling, more programming options, and extra channels. To me, it was a no brainer.
You flying at the field over the Pali?

If I were you, I would head out there. And at least meet the local heli guys. You can get to hold and feel the various radios. And they will be a BIG help as you move up. Some great people out there.

Have to agree with pinecone hands down. If I could, I would sleep with my DSX9 (9303)!
