Is it me, or does anyone else find that the---
100-100-100-100-100 flat curve feels better and more performance than 100-95-90-95-100 in the IU 1 with a linear pitch curve..
I am running the Z20/980, Revco 61T/68T, 20-OWB, 22T pinion..
It feels like I have to constantly fiddle with altitude adjustments because the head speed drops too low near center stick..
What else are you Hurri owners running @ IU1?

It depends on what you're doing. 100% in the middle doesn't leave space for more when you really need it. I would use 100% flat at Idle2. I've programmed Idle1 with an U (my radio has 13 points) and I mix around 10% with Nick / Roll and 5% for Tail. Feels much better than without mixing...

i've also gotten rid of my "V" curves for idle 1 and 2, and now have idle 1 at flat 92% and idle 2 at flat 100%.

yea i have 1 as like 87 and 2 as 100 just so i can switch into one and its easier on the gears then i go into 2 and fly :)

The only thing I noticed that I like with the v-curve is the ramp up in torque going from 90-95-100 when I do a punch out.. but, I don't like the HS decrease..

Sometimes when your motor is marginal, its best to set it at 100 percent and collective is more consistent. There is less bog and the motor doesn't have to speed up for throttle response. The only reason for me to use a curve is to gain more flight time and reduce head speed. Since its not glow powered it wont over rev anyways.

If you're using 100% flat, the only limiting factor is you lipo. And you're right, you would get more flight time. Besides that, with throttle curve and mixer from nick/roll/tail to throttle my Hurri feels much better. And of course there's always Idle2 for 100% flat...
