You obviously haven't done much research, otherwise you wouldn't have bothered to post!
Align have stated that they have no intention of producing an 'E' version. Several people are talking about doing their own conversion, but there will be no offering from Align.

But, on this forum we are happy to answer any question like this. Thanks for posting.
When battery technology matures a bit more, there will be an e-version 700 size heli thats cost effective to fly!

I couldn't ever see myself paying £400 for two batteries to power it, also you have to remember what happens if you crash you could be kissing £400 goodbye plus £££ for the parts to fix it....

I have no problem coughing up the $$$ for electric 90 size, but I want to know how it will fly prior to that (in terms of power)
I have crashed plently of times, never damaged a lipo

I'll have my CNC router up in about a week. When the T700 comes out I will be doing a "E" frame conversion.

Should be no problem. Go 12S and then you have it. My setup is giving output of 3100-3200 Watt:YeaBaby: Should be enough for a 700 machine too.

man but how much do your packs cost? way to much is the answer. I love the simplicity and power of E, but eh largest heli that is currently practical for E is a 500 size. 130$ for a pack is still a lot of money, 500$ is just crazy. in a few years 50 size nitro will be outdated but I think .90 nitros will stay around a while. batteries will still have to get better and cheaper before I buy a large E heli.

"Way too much". Thats a question of definition. This hobby just cost "way too much" in many ways. Interesting however to see that people have 3-4 different helis (fully speced with the best of the best), thats quite costly:lol: I have only one heli and can spec that one as i like.
In general, i have to agree that batteries have a way to go before they can fully outdate nitro and is still too costly (compared to lifespan).
I have absolutely no problems to invest 500 bucks each set in batteries, but the short lifespan many batteries showing these days is slightly hard to accept.
On the other hand, having a 90 size nitro is not especially low cost either, thats the reason for that for each 90 size sold (AND flown) it will be sold 10 off (or more) 50 size.
We just have to accept that big size and/or power is not for average Joe on low budget;)

with 2200 head speed on my henseleit mp xl-e it is mad power.
not every body can fly nitro. rules and regulations keep me away from nitro here so electric is the only way for me

If you want a 90 size electric , your best bet is to get the MinAir Ion X2 , fly's great... it's a little pricey but definitely a nice large E-machine..
