 I have never seen that sensored icon before, that is funny right there.

Ok, down side of cable bundle package. Cable went out. No phone, Internet, race was in and out. My service has been so awesome, first time for something like this since I signed up years ago. Could not believe how crazy it was making me. My world sadly revolves around the Net.

Finally! The lights on the modem are green. :YeaBaby:

Made good use of the time though. Got three repair vids done. Downloading the last one from my camera now. Then to edit and upload them.

Also finished my project. I need to take some stills of it and add to my photo album.

But I'm back. Yahoo! :)

Well, it won't happen again if I can help it. I must have my Internet.

Got the videos done, but there are a few parts I need to re-shoot Looks like I might not be done this weekend. we shall see.

Did get my special project finished. Cut my left thumb working on it, RIGHT where my left stick sits. Lesson learned: Heli pilots must protect their fingers like a world class pianoist.

Here it is. I hope Lock didn't get too excited about it. Could be better and it needs some yellow paint. Most I have seen were yellow. I think maybe one blue one under a Police heli once. I came up with the idea while trying to think of a way to store my heli in the house.

Well, need to go watch videos and laugh at myself. It is worse then hearing your own voice. Raining here so all flights are grounded. :(

At least I have you guys.

that's cool how heavy are they, can you strap the heli on them and fly with them and come into a rolling landing?

HeliMix

No, I do not think I can do that. It is not a toy. I did wonder if I can land on it like the real helis do. May have to try to some time, when there is NO wind.

Hey sorry about your bad news, This gives you a chance to replace those shitty servos thow. And if it make you feel any better i just crash mine in a farm field yesterday with crotch high farm grass. Took 3 hrs to find and if that wasnt enough the farmer just happend to be mowing that day, with a huge commercial john deere. when it rains it pours luckly the tall grass absorbed all the shock. It didnt even break the blade, just bent the spindle, which bent back for the 5th time since no one got them in stock. Happy flyin'

do yourself a favor . . get new servo's. You're spending maybe five bucks more per servo to get hb-65's and they make a BIG impact. You will definetly notice how much more locked in the heli will be with upgraded servo's.

Personally, I am sticking with the stock servos and rebuilding them when the are stripped. I recently rebuilt three stock servos for the price of one stock servo and they are working fine. Since I expect to crash still, this will save me some money in the long run for the other things I will break while learning to fly. If I upgraded servos and had a bad crash, I would be having to rebuild or replace a slightly more expensive component which if I did it often would add up to more in the long run. Once I am more confident and comfortable, and not expecting as many crashes (or good enough to venture into 3D), I will be upgrading servos. But that is only my opinion*.

helimix, why did you build a skateboards for your heli?

HeliMix
05-11-2008, 11:18 PM
Uh... So I can skate? Why else? LOL

Here is why (http://www.helicopterdolly.com/dolly-super.html). You see them where heli's are kept for PD, Rescue, and business etc.
