Don't bother reading his useless link above.

This should help.
1) Make sure your DX7 is plugged-in, calibrated and working under windows control panel -> "Game Controllers".
2) In RF, calibrate your controller.
3) In RF, once your controller is calibrated, you can map your individual channels on the Tx to the individual channels in real flight. Example: move your elevator stick up and down, you'll see the indicator bar in the RF calibration window move, now change it to reflect what the stick is supposed to be doing (elevator).

Using RF without Interlink to connect PC like with a cable he posted is illegal.

No it's not. You're not changing a single bit inside the program. The program is not being modified in any way shape or form. Your post is still useless...as is your status as the self-appointed software police.

Woah, calm down guys!

Justin-
The real answer is that the InterLink controller that comes with RealFlight is a "dongle", or a device that you have to use to be able to use the software. It MUST be plugged into the computer to open RF ... unless you [illegally] use dongle-emulating software. This IS deemed illegal conduct, and it will void the warranty.

So, in short, what you need to do is get the cable that connects the InterLink to your radio. Usually this is included in the simulator package, but if those don't fit, you may have to find one on Tower Hobbies (search RealFlight adapter or something like that). It will probably be only about $3.

However, the general consensus about using real radios with RealFlight is that it's not worth it. You're draining batteries, putting extra wear and tear on the radio, etc. Most of the time, the InterLink is "good enough" to use for the simulator as your real radio.

Only you can make the decision whether it's worth it or not, so buy the cheap cable and try it! Who knows, you might like it.
