450SE V3 - Main Gear

Is the main gear changable for the align 450SE v2 version.

The only fault I have found with my kit is the main gear not being round.
There is a MicroHeli main gear available and I would like to use it if I can.

I just installed an Align V2 main gear on my HDX450SE with no problems. I was having issues with the one way bearing in the HDX main gear, went through two of them. So far no problems with the Align and it went in with no problems or mods.

Aussie...did the maingear you get with your kit look like this one below...has 4 screws holding the oneway hub to dark blue main gear...

If so...the V2 Allign gear is 100% compatible with the gear you have...

P.S. I love the HDX - I would love to have a 600 someday - will HDX ever have one?

Glad to help...

I don't think HDX will ever produce a 600 size...but I am not privy to that info...so I guess I can't really say one way or the other...

BUT...keep an eye out on the forums and such you might see a new 550/600 being talked about sometime in the new future from a different company... :D
