Hello,
I am new to this hobby (almost 4 months), and I realised that I do not like 3D flying. I like having scale flying with my belt cp, doing quick or slow passes and turns and a few rolls and loops. All these make me happy but I would like a body to enoy more :P
After few crashes in the beggining my belt cp needs to rest and I am looking for my next heli (preferably electric) and go to the next level. I've heard about the Trex450 and its flying ability and I love the heliartist fuselages. I was ready to buy a Trex450se v2, when I flew the Gaui550 and it felt steady as a rock :YeaBaby: . But I dont know it there is a scale body to fit in.
I know that both helis are too different in almost any aspect, but can you try to give me an advise ?
Thanks ;)

I havent heard too much about availability for fuse's for the Gaui 550, I was going to buy one just to turn into a scale ship but had trouble finding one that would fit and it probably handles better because of its size, the bigger you go usually the more stable they are. I just finished putting my Trex 450 XL into Aligns MD500E fuse abd it looks bad azz and handles great.

here are some pics of the fuselage outside and in
1. windows removable with magnets on corners for battery removal
2. main frame on bottom is large for battery tray and CG placement
3. small blocks with nyloc nuts imbedded with epoxy so skids mount and hold fuselageThis also is nice as I undo four screws in the skids and remove the tailcase and the whole assembly comes free of the fuselage.
4. small mess area to accomadate larger motor and coolong. ( had to raise jeli in fuselage to align boom and get flybar clearance.

Here are a couple more
Last one is how it looked with stock skids before the Trex 600 skids ( silly isn't it) and a attempt at velcro on the windows ( didn't stick well in narrow strips )

Where did you bought the fuselage, which one is it exactly, and, is it easy to put batteries on that?
Thanks

I purchased this fuselage from Rotor Hobby in singapore here is a link to it

The price was great and shipped to me in a week well packed and no damage.
If you look at my pics you can see the front windows I put in rare earth magnets ( small and powerful) in the corners of the windows so the remove and I can take the batteries out easily.
