Hi
I'm planning on putting a fuselage on my trex 450, but I'm not sure of which one I should choose, Align or HeliArtist?
Pros - Cons?
Is the HeliArtist fuse without rear windows? From the pictures I've seen, I personally like the HeliArtist version better, it has a more scale look to it. Are there any closeup photos to help me in my decision?

The Align fuse's have all dried up, if you can find one and like the colour scheme grab it; it's cheaper and likely built by the same people that build Heliartist. Well that's my uneducated guess but...
By the time I got my act together the Align's were all gone, but I do LOVE the Heliartist N23CP which is what I have now (see the other threads on this discussion).
Good luck and Happy Flying!

HeliArtist makes the Hughes 500E fuselage for Align.

Does the 500 hughes fuselage support the 9650 tail servo? Thanks in advance.

You can use the Futaba S9650 in the Hughes 500 fuselage.
But, you will need to fabricate a bracket to mount the servo.

how wide is the fuselage in the back portion? i have the helidirect superframe which is a bit wider in the back than the stock frame, and i'm starting to worry about it being too wide..

The width of the heli frame is not an issue, you'll have plenty of room.
The size of the servo is what you'll have to accommodate.
The servo normally sits up and, and will bump up against the upper curvature of the fuselage.
It is not possible to simply rotate the servo lower, without binding the linkage.
There is lots of room at the bottom, so mounting the S9650 in the vertical position is the solution.

I use a Futaba S3154 servo in my 500D. It is much smaller, and can be rotated without binding.

ok, i have no problem with mounting my s9650 servo as mentioned above. i was more worried for the frame being to wide, but from the pictures i feel confident this won't be a problem.
