cnc head esky or trex?

I am thinking of upgrading the head on my belt after having a recent crash so what i want to know is should i go for the esky purple one and is it a direct fit or shoulld i go for the trex one and what mods do i need to do other than the shaft upside down? apart from that are there main and feathering shafts available for both or easier to buy for than the other thanks in advance Jamie.

Go for a T-Rex head or clone... you won't regret it. If you're going to spend money on upgrades, you might as well have something that makes a real difference. All you need is a swashplate that has the extra mount for a rear facing anti-rotation pin. The "B" style from cnchelicopters is my personal favorite.

Both main and feathering shafts are generally cheaper, better quality and easier to find for the T-Rex head.

Get a Trex style head, there is no comparison. With all the Trex style heads you will need to get a different swashplate cause the anti rotation pin is on the elevator servo ball on the Trex not on the opposite side of the swash like the belt.

The exeption to this is the belt upgrade head in the 'anyone else tried this head' thread
which has a 'type B' swash plate

The CopterX head available on Ebay is on my heli and it is brilliant. Only cost me £38 delivered. I used the UGT 05 initially but I'm changing to a Mini Titan one which costs about £15 delivered I'll let you know how good it is when I get it

My heli flies so much better with this head:)

so if i get the rex head and the swash ive read about in other posts like from xmseller flea bay do i still need to mess about with the balls (linkages) or am i cofusing myself? will it ship with the shafts and finally will i need new blades etc or are the grips the same size?

If you buy from XM Seller he will give you extra 3 large Balls (Ok guys i know you gona get me on that one :) ) for the servo horns, other than that you dont have to mess with any other balls it comes with it all.. just make sure ask him to throw in 3 extra large balls for your servo arms.
