what's the stock pinion for the H550? just wanting to know which one I won't need to buy :D
I have mine 15T, and a few of my friends also came with 15T.

I'm not positive, but I think mine came with a 14T.

mine came with a 14T and 42T front main gear and the 800Kv motor.
I think there are diffences when getting kits with larger motor and new 50T main gears.

If you did not order the motor esc combo it doesn't come with one. If you do supposedly 14T.

I got the CFS kit with the upgrade motor (1500W/1100kV) and ESC. Mine did not come with a pinion. I ended up going the Revco gear route to get more gearing choices. I'm currently running a 20T pinion with a 68T main gear and a 20T OWB.
With the stock motor and main gear a 14T would be about right.

thanks... since it could come with either a 14T or a 15T or even no pinion.. I might as well order the 14T and 15T as well as a 50T that should keep my HS in a more reasonable range to start with.. besides, gears can wear out, always good to have a spare :D

I'm using the 15t pinion, 50t front, 20t owb and the stock main gear, with the z20a 980, works great and I get over 7 minutes on a pair of 2200mAh (no 3d).

Curves, but I don't remember what I had it set to off the top of my head. I think it was 100-92-85-92-100 and a straight 0-100 pitch, but I'll double check when I get home.

thanks! I might start with the 14T and see how it flies.. if I need more speed I can always swap to the 15T.. a flight time of 7+ minutes will be more than enough...I'll need a break so I can remember to breathe sooner or later :D
