Hi all,

As you may have noticed from elsewhere, I'm trying to track down a vibration on my helicopter. As tracking it down is proving more difficult than tracking down a fart in a jacuuzi, I'm having to be extra anal when it comes to things like rotor balance .... so I made my own magnetic rotor balancer :D

Has worked very nicely :) I bet you balancing the rotors hasn't solved my vibration problem but hey, it's good to know they're balanced correctly now :)

Cheers :D

Wow David. The other end just floats like that?
You know, the Align balancer is only $20, but if you wanna get serious about balancing, the Koll Rotor Pro is the way to go ;) but you will need a precise scale to use it.

I had a small vibe problem awhile ago I couldn't figure out. Blades balanced, new shafts and spindle. It turned out that one of the metal grips was a tad shorter than the other when I measured distance from the end of the grip to the bolt hole with the digital caliper.
I think I may have hit one of them too hard with the hammer while trying to get out the bearings :o
Probably totally unrelated since you have a logo, but I thought I'd share :D

Hey David try throwing the flybar head back on and use the blades you want to use with flybarless. If it flys smooth odds are something is wrong with the new main hub. That may also help you narrow the problem down working with old familiar equipment
