Is there an adapter out there that will allow me to plug in a battery with a Deans connector into the factory standard cylindrical connector? I know the right way is to solder a Deans connector on the heli but I have the battery now and would like to use it.

Dont think they sell it - I made my own but since have converted to deans.

I got a Deans pair (m/f) and clipped the EC3 connector off the ESC with about 1" of wire still attached. I then soldered the (m) Deans connector to the ESC and the (f) Deans connector to the clipped-off EC3.
Now I can use batteries that already have a (f) Deans, and I've got an adapter that I can use between my EFlite battery and my ESC.
With only 1" of wire, I couldn't use the heat-shrink tubing. I just plopped a blob of epoxy over the soldered end of the Deans connector so no metal is exposed. Gives it something to grab onto for disconnecting, too.
