J3 a bit sticky

My collective stick (J3) is a bit 'sticky' when I move it slowly. I tried both loosening and tightening the screw in the back but it didn't seemed to make a difference. Any suggestions on how to smooth it out?

I have that on my new 14MZ, a little bit of stiction here and there; seems to be getting better the more I use it. My backup (used) radio is smooth as silk on J3.
