Ok, I have read and re read, checked and double checked,,,,I don't know what do or what I am doing wrong? I am trying to get my blade 400 of the ground for the 1st time and its not going so well. At half stick, I look at the tracking and blade pitch, it looks level. But the more throttle stick I give, my blades lean to the right, looking at the heli tail in. The more stick for right side lean. I cant figure out what to do, or how to fix it? I thought the heli should lift straight off the ground? I have replaced my feathering shaft and checked my blade pitch...... GGGrrrr. Im lost, any advice out there? :arggg::confused:

Have you actually gotten it off the ground yet? Or does it want to flip over to the right? Have you tried to trim it to the left?

Nope, no air time, not even a little .......... I have tried to trim all the way to the left, but its not going far enough. I dont know if I should just give it full stick and see what happens........... I am about to start sobbing........................................... .......

First of all, to help diagnose what wrong, take the wires to the motor off so that you can operate the stick without it chewing your face off while you look at it. Now with the motor disabled look at the swashplate while operating the collective ( Thats the stick on the left) does the swashplate go up and down smoothly and evenly? Operate the cyclic ( Left stick) left and right. does the swahplate follow the cyclic?

 So, I think I tracked the problem to a dead or burned out servo, the servo that controls the left and right motion, flybar. SO, I put a new set of gears in the servo, plugged it back int the Tx and the servo don't work.... then I accidentally turned off my radio first..turn the Tx back on, no controls. Now I cant get it to re-band.......... Grrrrrr. This Blade is really testing my patience. The way I figure it, I just waisted $500 + on this thing, its is a lemon.... or I am a #$@%$%? Back to the hobby shop for me in the morning. Thanks for the help guys. :arggg::mad::arggg:

Follow what carlotwf is saying...
You should be sure everything is setup and working correctly before spinning it up.
Make sure the head and links are correct when you replace the servo.

It's an RTF heli. It should be good to go out of the box. If it's not, it's hosed and it needs to go back to the store for replacement.

Check out the B-400 forum, should help. The servos on the 400 are junk (nylon gears) and a few have posted about stripped servos right out of the box. Also, their is the possibillity that you need to rebind, directions are in the transmitter book, make sure to read in the heli section in the back half of book.

It's an RTF heli\
that's not entirely true. "rtf" models aren't truley ready to fly. they are more like "ready to do final setup and trim". if you think about it, do you really believe that the people whom assemble and package these helis take the time to setup, trim and properly prep them? more or less they just get the setup as close as they can in the time they have to do it, and i'm sure these factory workers are paid piece-meal and need to get as many out the door as possible.
one thing that will help, is for you to watch finless's ccpm setup vids and just start from scratch from the swash on up.

From the Horizon Hobby website (http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=EFLH1400):
"The Blade 400 3D is designed to give intermediate to advanced heli pilots a ready-to-fly experience like no other. It comes 100% factory built and flight tested so you can get flying right away. There is nothing left to assemble or set up. The Blade 400 3D is ready for hovering and 3D aerobatics as soon as you finish charging the battery."
So, yeah... they are supposed to set it up and test it before it goes into the box. Hence my statement: "It's an RTF heli."

If the heli is brand new and is not working then take it to the hobby shop and save yourself some grief. They should help you out and get it at least to the point where it will take off. They will probably advise replacing the servos. If you do that, then you will need to change some settings in the controller and make sure the swash is level. It's all in the swash!

RTF just like mine it took me about 2 weeks to get her off the ground. Good luck.

rtf my A$$, when I got mine the radio had the default programming. Luckily my friend who got me into the hobby checked it over before taking it for a fly and noticed the swash settings were completely wrong i.e. going neg pitch when throttling up and was able to set it up for me.....
the good thing is though if you look at the manual, pages 18&19, show exactly what the swash and everything else should be doing when you give inputs on the radio.....
check to see that it all matches.....
