I've been working my a$$ of trying to isolate a viration in my stretched Logo 690 and suspect that the cause is directly related to the extended neoprene belt. The 770XL Gates Neoprene belt is not as flexible as the standard L600 belt, which I beleive is a more flexible combination of Polyurethane reinforced with kevlar. Since PU / kevlar belts are not available in standard lengths long enough to stretch the boom far enough for 690 blades I'm now considering going back to the standard boom / belt and trying out a set of 660 blades.
I've looked into getting a set of 650 Mblades but can't read German and their ebay store doesn't appear to have 650's.
Can anyone recommend a decent set of 660 blades (14mm root / 4mm bolt)?

Just remember the 6003D Stock boom will only accomadate up to 640mm mains safely. ;)

Really? I thought they were designed for 600 - 650's.
Since I'm using it for AP (no 3d) I can't see the harm in stretching the blades a little. But then maybe I'm just asking for trouble.
Does anyone know the length and tooth count of the standard L600 belt?
you might be able to run bigger blades and a set of 95 tails instead of 105?

Thanks Ian, that's also a good idea.
I'm thinking that if the Raptor 50 belt is slightly longer than the L600 belt I might try installing that with 650 or 660 blades since it looks like the R50 belt is Polyurethane but I still don't know the length and tooth count on the L600 belt.
I've got a German friend looking into the MBlades for me so I'll wait and see what he can find out about the 650's.

I'm dying to know where people are getting the 385XL belt in Polyurethane material!!
According to the sales guy at Gates Mectoral they don't manufacture such a belt. The only belts they have are:
1/4" 385XL (770XL) Neoprene
1/4" 385XL (770XL) "TruMotion" Polymer Compound (white)
Are people refering to the white Trumotion belts when they say they are using the Gates PU 385XL?

The White belt is what I am using. It has more stretch then the neprene belt. Nice and smooth, not as hard on the drive train.

How do you find the nylon faced teeth? The photo makes them look a little rough and fuzzy around the tooth edges.

It runs smooth. It seems to be a very tough material. You should like it.
