Is the CopterX v2 head the 4mm shaft dropping down to 3mm at the outter bearing of the blade grip? if so then simply buy V2 trex 450 feathering shaft.

It is - mine just arrived today :)
I haven't seen any US suppliers for the V2 parts yet, but the T-Rex SE V2 shafts should be interchangeable.

What is the lenght of the V2 feathering shaft? I may have a few you can have since I don't have a V2. If the correct lenght, PM me your address and I'll drop them in the mail for you.

I'm reading 40.75 mm on the CopterX shafts.

Thats 1.25 mm shorter.. they must be using smaller bushings on that head.. either way it will still work just get appropiete washers to fill in the gap at the central holder.

CopterX helicopters Kick much butt!!!!!
That is good to know the CX shaft is shorter than the Align, easy fix though. The main shaft is exact. I swaped my CX for My Align shaft within 3 days, because the CX shaft came with a slight bend during shipping.

Afternoon All:
US Hobby Supply carries the Copter-X 450 and parts for it.

The above link is for the Copter-X parts page on the site. He is unfortunatly out of feathering shafts. Use "contact us" on his site, and he will let you know roughly when he expects more in stock. I deal with them for my Belt CP parts and up grades. He is very reliable and fast to ship.

That's also a good source for Esky stuff, but they don't seem to carry the CopterX V2 shafts. Looks like Electron Hobby does, though: http://www.electronhobby.com/cocfeshv2.html

Hey, I'm using the Align feathering shafts, and they work great in the CopterX 450SE V2.
Much stronger than the copterX shafts, not sure if that's good since it'll cause more damage to the aluminum parts, main hub/blade holders; I'd rather have the feathering shaft give way than for it to hold strong, aluminum is much softer than stainless steel.
Here are some pictures showing the copterX vs. align shafts.
So go ahead and use the Align parts interchangeably.
You may want to install the Align main gear set with the dual fans, it helps cool the motor/ESC much better than the CopterX ones(No cooling fans).

Thanks for the info. I just ordered a V2 Head for my 450sa and it is good to know that I will be able to use align parts.
