Very, very good. From what I've seen so far, slightly better than CopterX - but with any of the three (Align, HDX/3DX, CopterX) I suspect it's getting into matter-of-opinion territory anyway. You'd have to run them hard for a long time to see any major differences.

So big difference to the belt head then?

Yes honest

Get it Andy its the most important bit, the rest is just a head holder and spinner;)

Copter X is still cheaper from HK £35 delivered but then you need Mini Titan Swash or similar That costs about £15, Its silver but looks OK with the blue head and would match your posh tail:)

Dont think your going to find any thing in Uk as cheap so youll have to wait for a cheap head, Isn't the X heli head a cheaper version of XM seller one?

Ronniebiggs

Not to sure. Think I will have to wait till pay day to get this. I have spent a fortune and the bank account cant take anymore:thumbdown:.

1 thing I would like to know though. Is what ESC is better than the std Esky ESC but about the same price £17. Im selling my belt I have built for a spare to a mate and need a ESC for it. Dont want to spend a lot but want it to work ok for him?

Ye nice. I would but with so much in mine I want to have some fun before I get a new heli. Plus the head looks like its plastic. Would be like getting a better std version of a Belt again. I would want to do it up and I would have to start from the beginning. Probably ending up in the same position im in now:YeaBaby:

Would not look like plastic in real life and certainly wouldnt feel or fly like it:)

It the geometry of the Trex head that is so much beter than the Esky one

dont know why but they fly much better.

LOL!

Let's just say that I still haven't even decided if the Belt CP head on my King II is worth repairing. I don't know if the purple parts are much better than Esky plastic, but I think it's a safe bet that you'll be surprised when you put that head on. Like Ian says, everything else is just accessories - and as heads go, that 3DX/Sonix is definitely a nice one.

If you're looking for cheap quality, go for the CopterX V2 head - seems like very good quality, and what else can you get for under £40 delivered? As you have the Superframe on the way, it's also a drop-in fit. I think the 3DX head is £75 in the UK, so it might be worth waiting a while... and if you're in a hurry, eHirobo seems to offer UPS Worldwide Express (1-4 business days) for £48.85 total.

I think just about anything is better than the stock Esky ESC, but Hobbywing seems to make surprisingly decent ones in the same approximate price range.

What swashplate does the copterx head require to fit the belt?

another_finn

Any swashplate that has the fourth mount for the separate anti-rotation pin and the capability to run 4.75 mm balls on the inner race.

HDX/3DX "B" style, Microheli 120 CCPM Uni swashplate, apparently also Mini Titan, just to name a few of the best.

I just put on a Mini Titan one on mine £15 delivered far better than the UGT 05 one I previously had, straight fit no slop, silver looks cool with the blue copter x head
