I'd like to post this in the Trex500 forum rather then the PhoenixRC section because the question is more suited for the TREX500 folks:
I originally had my normal TC on the radio 0,50,80,90,100 and a PC of 42,46,50,75,100 and left Phoenix with the defaults of -5 @ min, 3 @ half, 9 @ max.
After reading a post under the Trex500 forum here I adjusted the values in the sim to:
TC to 0,100,100,100,100 with the same PC as above and changed Phoenix to -4, 0, 10. This seems to be the recommended values for a newbie on the TREX500. The result is a much faster heli in the sim and the old setup was so much easier. I'm looking for the best setup values to practice with in the sim that will mirror my real helis.
I have 2 Trex500 built and ready to go (minus pitch/throttle settings), just waiting for my DUO that will be here next week to charge the batteries. I have some experience flying but want to go back to square one. (6 years ago I started flying with an ergo .45 and raptor .30 and stopped once I changed jobs)
