Would like to know how to tune a TT .50 pro. Every time I start it and get it off the ground 1 min. later it loses power. I turn the needle 2 and half turns and still does the same thing.

tighten all the bolts, richen to 2 1/2 turns and try again. If it still leans, look to your fuel system.
Best thing you could do is use that engine as a paperweight and get an OS.

Best thing you could do is use that engine as a paperweight and get an OS.

Why? If the engine is running fine for a minute, then going lean it is unlikely to be a problem with the engine.

Exavior,
If you are hovering for 1 minute then you are putting most load on the engine. Forward flight is less stressful. If you are getting this problem in hovering then I suggest you only have a slight problem. If it is happening in general forward flying then the problem may be more severe.

Favorite solution would be to carefully check the clunk line, especially if your heli is a Raptor still using the original clunk hose.

Also, if you are running a governor, try tuning the engine with it disengaged. Governor's can easily mask underlying tuning problems.

The motor needs to be tuned. have you looked @ www.raptortechnique.com (http://www.raptortechnique.com) there is good information on how to tune yr motor. Also maybe a glowplug issue. Attached is a good article on glow plugs

if it runs fine then dies or slows, you've already done harm to the engine by overheating.
more reliable as a paperweight
