Is my 550 tail too tight?

I lubed the belt and oiled the shafts last night. This morning, when I gave the main blades a spin with moderate amount of force, they spun for about 3 rotations ans stopped. Is the belt too tight? The blades were set at 0* pitch during this test. Thanks

Did you spin the main blades by hand? If you did, that's pretty good.

Spool it up at 0* pitch, hit the throttle hold and see how long it spins.

I put in new belts just about as tight as I can get them because I know they will stretch a little as they break in.

Yes I did it by hand. With TH and at -2* pitch normal mode, she spun for a while before coming to a stop. However, I'm done flying her until I can buy a new charger that can charge up to 6 cells.

Look at the ThunderPower 610c. It does up to 6 cells. If you batteries have ThunderPower or FlightPower balance connectors, get a Kong Power Battery Bridge (http://www.readyheli.com/Kong_Power_Battery_Bridge_p/kp-bridge.htm)and charge the 2 3S packs together like a 6S pack.
