Hope to meet you when I'm there, Dennis. Unfortunately, I'll be on my motorcycle so the twin brother of your 500E 5-blader won't be along for the trip.

Quite a weekend. There were 100 registered pilots. At one time I counted 14 helis in the air. Weather was awesome and there was some very good flying. Thanks to everyone that showed up to play along. I realy enjoyed the "no contest" format.

Well heck, don't thank me. We just moved the hobby shop there. The guys at Cascade Rotory Wings in Vancouver Washington planned, executed, and made all the decisions for that event. Here is a link to their web site:

http://cascaderotorywings.org/CRW_Website.shtml

They did a great job of laying this one out. What a surprise to see over 100 pilots registered there. The weather was great except at night when I frooze my.........off <G>.

The skill levels we saw there was incredable. Lots of guys were 3D flying with very good skill levels. 5 years ago we would not have seen that. Back then, there was only 1 or 2 guys in the field 3D'ing. When they were up, everyone else was down and watching them. Shows to go you how far the hobby has gone in the last few years. I am convinced Align RC has a lot to do with that in making the hobby more affordable for more people.

The next one in the Northwest is in Snohomish Washington on July 25th 26th & 27th. Here is the link to the Cascade Model Helicopter club web site for that one:

http://www.cascademodelheli.org/

See you all there and thanks for all your support.
