What's the difference between part # 0832-6 and 120-9?
I'm in the process of upgrading to the one piece transmission block and it appears I have the wrong shaft.
Thanks,
Jeff

I'm not sure what the difference is but 0832-6 is the shaft that was in my Fury kit with the two piece transmission. When I upgraded to the one piece transmission I used that part number.

Jeff,
120-9 Shaft is longer than 0832-6.
0832 -6 will work, it just won't seat into the second bearing in the one piece bearing block.
120-9 is the shaft you will want to use.

David is the man. That's right. I just checked my setup out and that is indeed the case. Looks like I'll be getting a 120-9 PDQ. It's a good thing I don't mind taking machines apart, but It would have been nice if this had been published. Or did I miss it?

If I remember MA published that information at one time.
I still have the 0832-6 shafts in both my Tempests. I got the one piece block when it first became available and installed it. Used the stock shaft that came with the Extreme. Both of my Tempests are converts from Extremes.
No problems when using the 0832-6 shaft with the one piece bearing block.

Do you loctite the shaft going into this bearing block?
Thanks again.
Jeff
The PMS man should be here Wednesday. That's what my 3 year old son calls him. :D

I loctite the bearing and the shaft at the bearing in the vertical channel. I don't loctite the shaft into the bearings at the one piece bearing block.
