I use 14 toth pinion, 50 tooth primary gear - I get 6 - 7 minutes on 2 x 2200 batteries

I have the newer standard Gaui motor with I think 1500w 1110kv.
What is the difference between that engine and the Z30 1110kv?
Is it the same power?
My head bog at max pitch around +10 deg and 1900rpm. 515mm blades.
I would like the Z20 but I dont whant to lose power.
Is the Z30 really better than the Gaui eng?

Z30 has more torque than the Gaui... something which could become a problem when flying with a plastic frame. There are posts which say that the Z30 produced cracks around the motor mount. No problem with Gaui 1,5kW engine. Only problem with Gauis motor, consumes quit a lot of power and produces more heat than the other one... I recently exchanged mine and now I get 1 min more flight time with at least the same power. 1 min is quit a lot if you get 3 1/2 to 4min with the Gaui motor.

i have the plastic frame and no cracks after 20 flights so far...
Three friends of mine are using Z30A with plastic frame, no problem.
One of them is flying hard 3D, also no problem.

But you should have that in mind and check that from time to time. I also don't think that this is really a problem. Perhaps they (posting this) had an older frame. The first ones were more flexible.
