View Full Version : Wow the knight 50 3D is great!
I flew my new Knight 50 3D for the first time 4 days ago and while i was in normal and hovering both of the gears that go on the main shaft broke!
the parts that broke:
tailboom
tailboom brace
tailbelt
blades
tailblades
mainshaft
spindle
flybar
both main shaft bearing blocks
skids
gears

did you have the bearings in correctly and the main shaft lock on correctly? i've never seen anything like that, even if the gears stripped . that looks like something caused a sodden stop or went trough it.

looks like a build error or ommision.
Im guessing you either did not have the engine girdle on, or the correct grommet allowing the engine to 'dive' into and away from the maingear.
Lets see photos of the rest of the machine before we pass judgement though.

when i got the heli i looked over the heli and checked that everything was mounted like it said in the manual and and used loctite on the bolts that go in metal

I think a part of the main gear fell off and hit the tail gear because it started spinning and i had no control of the tail

Its not a wire but a part of the main gear
