Im in the market for a new radio, upgrading a futaba 9cap, leaning towards the 12fgh for 1150 shipped. Anyone know if the comparable differences between the 10c and 12fgh warrants for the extra money required?

I don't know anything about the 10C but I just purchased a 12FG for my Trex600 (but mostly for my jets). It is a sweet, easy to figure out the programming, radio! It has more heli programming than I ever thought possible!

From an update point of view, the 10C cannot have its firmware updated in the field. Also, my understanding is, you cannot transfer models from your 9C to the 10C via the CAMPac, anyways. You will have to setup your stuff all over again...so why not do it in a more capable radio. I just got the 12FGH with FASST as an upgrade from my very nice 9303. I wanted truly assignable switches AND trimmers, plus a host of other features too many or complex to go on about here.

Since your already using a 9C. I would suggest the 10C. The radio has a lot of features for the money. It is half the price of 12FG and it is just as capable as the 12FG.
