Ive had my 500 for 3 weeks now.. i havent been in this hobby for too long. but i trained on a blade cppro, moved into a blade 400 and now my trex 500.. short and sweet, i think this helicopter is the finest thing i have ever had the joy of piloting. Ive burned through 10 packs just hovering and cannot imagine piloting anything finer.. i worked three 80 grueling hour weeks for the zoot.. at times, during those 4 in the morning hours that i wouldve given the money back that i made just to have had sleep.. but it financed my trex, and i have been loving it ever since. it has become the staple of my sanity.. when i walk out to the field and smell the fresh cut grass, connnect the deans and smell that spark when i connect the battery, when i flip the throttle hold to "full go".. and watch her lift up into the sky i realize i found my center.. i never thought being a heli freak would be so rewarding (now if my girlfriend would share the same sentiment it would be nirvana).. thank you guys for your support.. :)

Yes... It really is a great flying machine. I share in your sentiments about how you feel when you go out to fly and it really is such a great feeling just to burn through some packs and enjoy everything about this hobby. Unfortunately, I have recently moved to NY and have come to find that there's not too many fans of heli pilots up here, thus it has really had a negative impact on the joy that I used to find in being in a heli group that really loved getting together and sharing in everything this hobby brings out in us all. I hope to get back and find that "connection" again in the near future ,but in the meantime, I continue to fly and enjoy what I can, even if it is without my flying friends for now.
Welcome to the helifreak club. Here you'll find some of the best guys in the hobby and a worldwide "family" that you can always count on. Now get back out there and get that heli flyin'!!

500 and the power and handling it offers in a stock package is just a sweet thing.
every flight with the 5 is a blast and puts a smile on my face
i fly alone ya ya all by my self and you know when i fly alone i prefer to be by myself lol

You've got the Freak, and I reallyy enjoy being with Freak's fliers. I don't fly with anyone around either (just alone), but whatever question I had Freak is a solution. Thanks Freak.

I think now it's clear that for wives and girlfriends there no any difference between a normal hovering and piro flippin which maybe took several months if not year for you to master :YeaBaby:
And regarding the 500 no doubt that it is the best electric heli ever, even sometimes I prefer it on my 600N pro.
today is sunday, I hope at the end of the day we will not see many threads with "MY TURN TO CRASH" TITLES LOL

I think it is probably the best priced best flying E heli ever made, I am sure the logo 400 will fly better but it will cost a lot more, and you will never be able to find parts for it.

I have to agree, I have a few heli's and I'm most impressed with the 500. I still love my Gaui 200's and t 450 but the 500 definately is the king of the fleet now.

The 500 is just sooo sweet. I'm loving it. I fly it daily and then my 600 on weekends. Its a tough call wether I like it better than the 600. I enjoy them both but am more comfortable with the 500 cause I fly it more.
On a sadder note, I'm falling out of love with my 450SE V1 because its just not as in control. Crashes are so much less expensive though!

Yes, the Logo500 is the best electric heli ever..........oops guess you meant the Trex500:YeaBaby:. Just funnin', the Trex 500 does fly well though.

The 500 indeed rocks. Had my first flights with my new one this past weekend. Whoa, big ba11s. Working well with the JR770/9257 too. Sweet ship. I'll be buying more batteries for sure (only have 3 sets right now). :) BUT, I do love the fuel and fly of the 600N - glad I have both! :YeaBaby:
No problems whatsoever with the static we always read about on the treads.............9257 on tail with the 770jr gyro and it is perfect.............almost hands off flying..............perfect size too........had an electrified Venture 50 and just too big and intimidating.............The 500 size is just made for electric I think...........Love my 450 but it is now sitting on my bench..................500 just too much fun..........can't wait to try the Outrage 3000 packs..............running the Align 6s now and like them very much.........Thinking about buying another 500 for a backup! Put tri-flow oil on belt after each couple of flight sessions..............

Try to replace the ............ with the return/enter key on you keyboard- :tongue
(looks much cooler that way)
