Well I went and destructed my piston and ring on the YS .80.
I'm thinking of upgrading to a 91 rather than rebuilding the 80.

I would like your thoughts on this.
I have a Freya Evo .90 heli that is new. The YS I bought on Ebay and the guy said it had a season of use on it.
I would need these parts to make it new again:
Piston
Ring
Pin
Clips
Bearings
Gaskets
and possibly a rod.

I'm thinking for the money I should just buy a new 91 but I'm not sure which one, the YS or OS?

I've heard that the OS is a bit harder to tune than the YS.

What would you do?

Any help, tips, or links greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

You most likely going to need a cylinder liner also. I would guess it has some scratches in it.

The above is $177. That is if all the parts are in stock. The YS 80 was discontinued when the YS 91 was put into production.
