If i were still living in Miami i would do it in a heartbeat for any of you guys but sadly (yeah boo hoo LOL) i'm in the caribbean :)
Just read this whole thread, hey guys! I'm in the States and I have a PayPal account, I'd be happy to help ya out. I also have USPS (not UPS) pickup at my house and a USPS on-line postage account so I can print the labels and Customs stuff right here at my bench.
A 4 pound package from my house to London Ahhh - wouldn't ya know the International Rate Table is down right now! But it would be lots cheaper than $70!
Give me an exact address and I can tell you exactly what it would be. If a couple of ya wanted to get together and get a couple at a time it would be even cheaper.
You'd just have to be prepared to back my story if the wife notices new helis coming thru!

Sounds a generous offer, Wiz, my closest city is Southampton, postcode/zip is SO20 6PR. Could you give that a whirl on shipping please?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
These are the rates for a 4 pound package the size of a heli box -
1st Class Airmail takes 7-14 days $30.10
Priority Mail takes 6-10 days $34.00
I just bought an Exi. The postage to my house was $12.00. So to ship it to my house and then to you would be between $40-$50.
My Exi should be here in the next day or so. I can weight it and measure it and then give you an exact shipping cost.
It seems stupid that this would be cheaper than having it shipped directly, but it looks like it really would be a lot cheaper!

Sorry for the long reply i've been revising... 'How will I afford batteries' Well I will get the heli for my birthday... And as for the battery.. I will just buy two brand new 3s batteries and use them together... But I must make sure that the have the same amount of flights and flight times.
Also, if my dad knows I am taking this hobbie seriouly he will be willing to buy a few things for me :D

You wont regret it and you will improve so much faster with it. That is the on eI have, and with the scoprion motor its just got crazy power and flight characteristics.

I really like my Belt and I can't complain at all about it. Thanks to the guys here I knew exactly what I was getting when I bought the Belt and I had it set-up correctly and hovering very quickly.
However it seems kinda dumb to keep replacing the stock parts when I can get the Exi for $100.
I also picked up a complete set of Belt electronics off Ebay, so I'll have 2 flying (and crashing) 450s.
I'll never be good enough to fly 3d like you guys, (I'm way better at building than flying) but eventually I'd like to build a scale Huey and the Exi is gonna get me a little closer to that day.

Hey guys! Good news!
Just checked the tracking on my Exi, it's supposed to be here tommorrow.
I noticed that UPS has the weight listed as 1 pound. If that's the case, 1st Class Airmail to the UK would only be $10.30!! I'm so excited, I just checked it again to make sure I didn't read the rate table wrong. That's right $10.30. That's not British pound, it's American dollars.
That means that with shipping to my house in the States, and then to the UK, you could get the Exi for $130 US!
Priority shipping would be $23. Even with priority shipping the whole thing would be under $150. :woohoo

At this rate, we will have to start a new sub-forum, along the lines of "I used to fly a Belt, but now............"
