Technically this still counts as my next heli - just completed it, and maiden flight will have to wait for tomorrow. It's a Guru-Z fiber frame, CopterX head and tail, King II main gear and Xtreme tail pulley, 3DX450 "B" anti-rotation bracket, Guru-Z 12 mm boom mount and 275 mm tail boom, HDX FRPs cut to 260 mm, Esky 3900 kV and Castle Creations 25 A ESC, T-Rex adjustable tail pushrod cut to custom length...

I needed a worthy replacement for the CP2, and the King II just wasn't it :D

This should sort him out nicely..

Oh wait this doesnt look like it will work on the belt cp :(

Yes, you'd need the King II tail belt pulley and main gear assembly - and at that point, there's nothing left to distinguish it from a King. It's a real featherweight, so it's probably best limited to something you intend to keep small and light. It's an improvement over the stock King frame, but I wouldn't really want to use it on a 450 size conversion.

I posted more detailed pictures in the King II section (http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=77010) - come to think of it, I might as well change the pictures here now that I have shots taken in better light.

Very nice pictures in a very nice setting.

Frame looks really good replacement for the king 2... Belt CP needs something like that.

Oh wait :) Thats the Exi LOL

LOL, I had that too for a while :)

Great to see you here, Tom. I've been haunting the old forum occasionally, but not really posting much... Seems the place took a real nosedive when they excommunicated this rebel faction and made it all about eye candy.

Please don't gloat Mika It's not nice:lol: We have ample reason to be smug and self satisfied without reveling in the shortcomings of others:YeaBaby:

Not gloating, Ian - there's some great guys left behind, and I really wish the old place would recover from the direction it took. But honestly... Did you ever try that "quick forum access" gadget?

Mika,
Have fitted both the BEC and battery monitor, both seem to work too. So thanks for your help there.
