9252's are fine.
Don't get anything less than a 7 channel radio.

JR XP7202 is a great radio, and inexpensive too at around $320, for $30 more you can have a Dx-7. as BH mentioned 9252's. the GY401/9254 combo is good for the tail.
OS .50 Hyper and a Revolution muffler. should be a nice machine, i look forward to gettin mine.

Considering the following:
Kit 600
Motor 200
Cyclic servos around 200 minimum
Gyro/Tail servo 200 minimum
There is your 1200 buck limit and you still have a lot of stuff to buy.
Unless I mis-understood what you're trying to do, you aren't going to be getting it flying for 1200 bucks unless you buy some used equipment.

i think $2k is a more realistic figure. I'm personally expecting $2.5k at this point with the new 9303 2.4GHZ, i wanna try the 140 deg swash HEHE

If you are planning on going scale then the Vibe 50 is overkill. It is really designed to be flown 3D. For scale I would suggest a Raptor, Hirobo Evo 50, or even a Shuttle. I know the Evo and Shuttle can be done for less than $1k if MRC is still doing their combo kits.

Some rough numbers.
$570 Vibe 50 kit
$125 for JR 811 servo's
any good 7 channel radio $220 (Hitec Eclipse 7 for example)
receiver $50
Hyper 50 engine $200 (hard to beat for the money)
401 gyro $140
Maverick wood 600mm blades $20
shipping $30
total = $1335
If your in no real hurry, you can find some real deals but what I am estimating is based on some decent equiptment that would be realistic for a starting pointi.
You could save some big money by getting an Align 600N for $360.

If you really want to save, why don't you get a Helimax...

I was just being funny. The man said he wanted a Vibe 50 at good cost, not a cheap heli that was suggested, so I went with a cheaper one...

I know Finsta, I was just making my point. We all want the Vibe 50 because of the performance, STELLAR looks, and well its a Vibe.:smokin:
My point was you can save money and buy something else and get OK performance, or you can save a little bit more and get a Vibe 50.:YeaBaby:
I choose the Latter:thumbup:
