Okay fellow Belt CP owners, I have another question I am almost embarrased to ask.
I got a Blade 400 main gear to replace the broken one on my Belt. I have the stock one way bearing, but it wont fit because there is a metal sleeve in the gear, and what looks to be one on the bearing itself, with to flat areas on it. I was wondering if there was a way to remove one of the sleeves so I don't have to get another bearing. The only way I see doing is is drilling the sleeve out of the gear. Please help me.

i recently burned ou my main gear on my blade 400. i bought a new main gear w/out bearing and ended up going back to the hobby shop to get one with the bearing already installed rather than try to fuigure out how to press the bearing out of the old gear and into the new.

There are no dumb questions
But a picture of what you mean can say more than a 1000 words
I gather what you mean to do is swap the 1way bearing ?

YOu have to push the old bearing out with a bearing removal tool and press it into the new gear.... Or buy the gear that has the bearing already in it.

The blade 400 one way bearing is a different size to the Esky one I'm afraid, the blade one is longer and Im pretty sure its the Wrong diameter too. the alluminium sleeve is part of the plastic gear and can't be pushed out without damaging the gear as flats half way down and the gear is moulded onto the sleeve.
I know this from trying to get a blade 400 bearing into an esky gear yesterday :YeaBaby:

As Dierwolf said you need a bearing removal tool, then it is a straight swap. What happened with the T-Rex gears you got?
