Cheapest way to get a 400?

Well I do not need the RTF one, as I have a DX7 Already and my luck selling anything these days stink.

I have been looking and seen they are going to have a Plug in play but its going to have those crappy servos.

So I was considering buying all the parts I needed and just building one, I don't really have the money now for all the servos and motor and all, and was thinking could build it little at a time but I do not know.

Has anyone ever tryed to add up to see how much every thing you would need would cost to build one?

just the heli itself?

I am sure if I add the gryo,esc,motor,it add up but how good is the stock esc? whats spicail about it? does it have any features another esc wouldn't? i like castle creations myself.

This is they guy I got mine from. You get the Heli, Stock Motor and Stock ESC. You can then add yoru own servos, gyro and RX. Transaction was smooth. He responded to all my emails. This is a better deal the the barebones you will get from Horizon when they hve them because he includes the motor and ESC.

I was thinking something more along the lines of a spare airframe with bonus motor/esc. but i don't think its quite worth it for nearly $200.
