Well Mk 2 Logo5003d VB successfully maidened this afternoon - tweaked the VS tail tail gyro up to 125% and it's still lagging ! - have to play with the cyclic gain too as there's a definite lag in response - anyway good subject for some videos !

I'm pleased with the rebuild - got rid of a few annoying wiring problems and the EVOLITE 2S was a bit long and took up too much of the battery space so it got kicked downstairs - also a hole in the back of the battery tray enabled the ESC throttle lead to get neatly routed upstairs and holes punched in the back trays enabled a neater routing of rudder servo and gyro lead - gonna give the O rings the flick and rely on Velcro and a Velcro strap, can't afford too many trephines on the top of the 6S, now I've cleaned up the battery tray it will take my AT 10 5000 :bad - might have to slip in my 45-07 to see how she goes ! - initial impression of the Electric Turbine :WOWbut I'm gonna nick down the FF and get some FDR (http://www.helifreak.com/showpost.php?p=690043&postcount=27) this arvo.

So how much better do you rate this motor from the 40/10L/8P?
Also would a 75A ESC hold out?

Well it's doing more at 65% throttle than the non ET version did on 80% but it's a different ESC (CC80 vs 55-10-32) so it's not a strictly fair comparison. AT the moment I'd say round about 20% more power at a guess - it certainly got away in height and distance very quickly till I reined it in - I want to do some more flights and FDR then I'll post a better informed comparison but for noew I'm very happy :)

As for the 75A it depends on how conservatively it's rated - I would think the Align 75A would be OK - you can see it's peaking at 90A with very heavy handed collective but running at 29A average - I think the 55-10-32 might be OK with heat sink and I may go back to that but obviously the Jazz 80A would be better suited (but I don't have one!)
